Welcome back!!
It is hard to believe that the beginning of the school year is already approaching!! Before we take a look at what is coming up this school year, I would like to look at some of the successes from last year. At KEYS Academy we celebrate all successes, from the first time a student is willing to get out of the car on their own to the day they graduate; each success of our students is important to us. Last year we had so many successes that people tend to overlook, from being present and awake during the school day to some students making their first friends, finishing classes, or passing the first SOL of their academic career – our students made a lot of progress.
This year we plan on being resources for our students’ further growth. We have a renewed goal of helping each student plan their BIG Life goal and really think critically about what that goal should be. It would be impossible to talk about all of the activities, lessons, and interactions our students will be involved in this year, but we can say that our goal is to help each student move with Safety, Dignity, and Opportunity. We are excited to welcome students back on August 5th for the 26-27 school year.
